Weneed to remember that we do not know who committedthese atrocities. Even if it turns out to be a Muslim oran Arab, we need to be careful not to blame a wholecommunity for the actions of a few.All Muslim organizations in this country and abroad,condemn this barbaric act; their feelings of deepsympathy for the victims and their families are sharedby all Muslims and Arabs here and around the world.To reiterate a statement by the American MuslimPolitical Coordination Council (AMPCC):"The American Muslims utterly condemn what arevicious and cowardly acts of terrorism against innocentcivilians. A Message from the UNH Muslim
Student Association
September 18, 2001
As president of the Muslim Student Association at
UNH, and on behalf of the Muslim and Arab
community at UNH, I would like to state that as a
Muslim of Arab origin, I am as horrified by today's
tragic events as any other American, and truly saddened
by the bigoted comments against Muslims and Arabs by
many of the viewers and members in the media. We
need to remember that we do not know who committed
these atrocities. Even if it turns out to be a Muslim or
an Arab, we need to be careful not to blame a whole
community for the actions of a few.
All Muslim organizations in this country and abroad,
condemn this barbaric act; their feelings of deep
sympathy for the victims and their families are shared
by all Muslims and Arabs here and around the world.
