Los nuevos liderazgos con sus discursos nacionales-populares que recorren
buena parte de América Latina han incrementado la autonomía de poder del Estado en
detrimento de la sociedad civil y ciertos grupos de oposición, es decir, toman decisiones
estratégicas sin la consulta previa a otros factores de poder social. Esta tendencia marca
el ascenso del decisionismo político en nuestra forma particular de hacer política
regional. Lo más curioso de esta situación, es que hay un gran desconocimiento, tanto
a nivel político como a nivel politológico, de los elementos básicos que componen el
polémico modelo decisionista de la política, vacío que aquí intentamos [email protected] new leaders in various Latin American countries, with their nationalist
and populist discourses, have increased the autonomy of state power in detriment of civil
society and opposition groups; in other words they take strategic decisions without prior
consultation with other factors with the society in general. This tendency can be seen
in the rise of “political decisionism” in the much of regional politics in Latin America.
The most interesting part of this situation is that there exists a lack of understanding
among politicians and in political science in general, of the basic elements of this
polemic “decisionist” model of politics. This article is an attempt to remedy this lack
of comprehension
