Last year Jim was vice-president of Curtain Club -and directed the Group Four production, Friday lor Luck. He has helped Mr, H, L. Jones, Ir, direct two Student-Faculty Shows, but this is the first big production Jim has directed for the Curtain Club, His work on stage has included parts in Two Blind Mice, Death Takes a Holiday, The Twelve Pound LooJt, High Class Stutl, and The Man Who Came to Dinner. Aside from Curtain Club activities and his studies in economics, Jim is kept busy around with Alpha Phi Epsilon Fraternity and Spirit Committee activities. BOB ROSS—Bob came to Ursinus from Frankford High last semester and already he is a "Player" in the Curtain Club. In the spring he worked on various committees. Bob also headed publicity for the Group Four play and worked on iStaging for the Group Three play. As for other activities. Bob is a feature news writer of the Weekly, is on the Executive Committee of the Sophomore Class, and belongs to the YMCA and the Messiah, ART WILBY—Active in the Curtain Club since his freshman year. Art has been a big help to the staging and lighting committees for many of the productions. Art gained most of his experience in the Navy where he sang and participated in show work. At Ursinus he directed staging and lighting for Two Blind Mice, All My Sons, •and various group plays. A junior this year. Art commutes from Roxborough, and is majoring in business administration. Lloyd Jones, Jr. Time — The Present — Three Days Place — Superior Court of New York City Produced by arrangement with Longmans, Green & Company THE PRINCIPALS FRANK BROWN—This year Frank is Vice President of the Curtain Club and Secretary Treasurer of Alpha Psi Omega. Many have seen him on the stage before in such plays as All My Sons and Two Blind Mice. Last year he was co-director of a group prroduction and also served on various committees for the spring play while finding time to help with staging for other plays. Frank had a role in the play pre-sented at the Cultural Olympics. Past Secretary of Beta Sigma Lambda, Frank is Treasurer of the Junior Class, and belongs to the Pre-Med Society and the Messiah, DICK HECTOR—To many Dick will appear as a new face on the stage, but he is a veteran member of the Curtain Club. Before his induction in the Army in 1952, Dick was active on the stage and appeared in Light up the Sky, the fall production of 1952. A day student from Norristown, he is a second semester junior majoring in business administration. When in school before, he was a member of the French Club and Debating Club while also working on the Weekly and yearbook. Dick once again is a member of the Debating Club. DOT PATTERSON—Although this is the first major acting part for Dot, she is well known for her work backstage. Secretary of the Curtain Club and member of Alpha Psi Omega, Dot has proved very capable as wardrobe mistress for The Man Who Came to Dinnet and for Ail My Sons. Her only other acting role was in Trilles which was presented at the Alpha Psi Omega Convention last year. Dot has served on costume committees for The Twelve Pound Look and the Junior Show. She has also had experience on the business committees for several productions. Phi Alpha Psi will miss this physics major when she graduates in June. Compliments of . . .
