The new website is an important step towards our goal of engaging with human rights scholars across the four corners of the globe. We intend to push the envelope with governments and nongovernmental organizations, challenging their practices and policies. While the website serves as the platform, your contributions are critical to reaching these objectives. We need you. This new website represents efforts of many thoughtful, talented, hard-working people who are committed to social science and human rights scholarship. We first thank Michael Scharf and Jessica Berg, Deans of the Law School of Case Western Reserve University. At a moment when SWB’s future was not crystal clear, Deans Scharf and Berg have offered crucial material and moral support to SWB, bolstering our efforts to push SWB forward.  We are grateful to Cyrus Taylor, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences of Case Western Reserve, and Dale Dannefer, Chair of Case Western Reserve’s Sociology Department, for enabling Bradley Powell and Kimberly Racut as Editorial Administrator. Professors Kenneth Ledford and Atwood Gaines early on shared insights from their experiences of editing journals as Case Western Reserve faculty.  We want to thank Mark Eddy and Daniela Solomon of Case Western Reserve’s Kelvin Smith Library. Dr. Eddy has gone to great lengths in gathering information and providing advice on how to help SWB reach its objectives, especially as SWB reaches new authors and readers. Peter Poulos, of Case Western Reserve’s Office of General Counsel, has provided support and guidance on legal questions surrounding the transition to SWB’s new website and status.  David Brunsma, Keri Iyall Smith, and Mark Frezzo, previous SWB editors, have shared crucial information and moral support as this transition took place. We are grateful for the work of Bruce Friesen as Sociologists Without Borders’ President and SWB editor. We sincerely appreciate the hard work and contributions of Tugrul Keskin as Book Review Editor and LaDawn Haglund as Film Review Editor have made over the years and their willingness to continue. We look forward to future collaborations. Last, but certainly not least, we are grateful to Lisa Peters. Picking up from the work of Andrew Plumb-Larrick, Lisa has closely worked with us in developing SWB’s new website. Lisa has provided guidance in how to reach our objectives.
