The town dialectology deals with research work concerning the
language of the inhabitants of towns in their natural acts of speech.
It sets the list of variants on every plan of the system of language,
and also in the systems of the structure of the text. It also sets the
distribution of these variants. Unlike traditional dialectology it is,
first of all, interested in the social and not territorial differences of
the language of the people living in towns
