Es werden Milben der Gattung Halolaelpas Berlese & Trouessart, 1889 beschrieben und der Untergattung Halolaelaps (Halolaelaps s. str.) zugeordnet. Folgende Arten werden neu beschrieben: Halolaelaps (Halolaelaps) decemsetosus sp. nov., Halolaelaps (Halolaelaps) weberi sp. nov., Halolaelaps (Halolaelaps) hyatti sp. nov. und Halolaelaps (Halolaelaps) ishikawae sp. nov. Für die Weibchen der Halolaelaps (Halolaelaps)-Arten wird ein Bestimmungsschlüssel aufgestellt.Species of the genus Halo/aelaps Berlese & Trouessart, 1889 are investigated and added to the subgenus Ha/o/ae/aps (Halolae/aps s. str.).
