Color poster with text and images.In agreement with literature the study demonstrated that there is a significant relationship with Early Childhood Educators wanting to stay in the Early Childhood Education field if better benefits were offered. Also in accordance with literature the study showed that Early Childhood Educators believe that pay performance would greatly motivate them. Those in the Early Childhood Education field have much insight on what motivating factors could reduce the turnover rate and keep teacher’s in the field. Furthermore; as found in this study, teachers are intrinsically motivated by personal passion and the freedom of being creative and challenging themselves as teachers. However, more time spent understanding relationships, communication, and feedback between supervisor and the educators is greatly needed in this field. Consequently, this may result in lower turnover rates and more motivated and satisfied Early Childhood Educators.University of Wisconsin--Stout. Research Service
