Studies of the spider fauna of xerotherm ic and of wetland habitats in Brandenburg revealed rare species that deserve interest because of their occurrence in this part of the country. A considerable number of these species are listed in red books of endangered spiders of our area. In order to inform colleagues who are interested in spider faunistics and in environmental control these species, are listed and briefly commented
