Stručnjaci Instituta za arheologiju i Muzeja Valpovštine, kao i vanjski suradnici u travnju i svibnju 2011. nastavili su sustavni arheološki pregled terena Valpovštine. Istražene su katastarske općine Tiborjanci i započeta k.o. Šag, a dovršene k.o. Ladimirevci (započeto 2010. g.), Marjančaci (započeto 2010. g.), Ivanovci (započeto 2010. g.). U katastarskoj općini Bocanjevci arheolozi su izašli na samo jedan teren kao i u k.o. Bizovac, te k.o. Valpovo na čijem se terenu administrativno sada nalazi arheološki teren Šaške njive.
U 8 radnih dana evidentirano je 13 nalazišta prapovijesti i srednjeg vijeka. Prapovijest je zastupljena na 4 nalazišta, a srednji vijek na 10 dok je novi vijek zastupljen na jednom nalazištu, a antika uopće nije evidentirana. Od deset srednjovjekovnih nalazišta 5 pripada kasnom srednjem vijeku.In 2011, specialists from the Institute of Archaeology in Zagreb and the Valpovo Region Museum, continued systematic archaeological field survey of the Valpovo area, started during April 2010. This year the survey of cadastre municipality of Ladimirevci, Marjančaci and Ivanovci was completed. Cadastre municipality of Tiborjanci was also explored, and survey of cadastre municipality of Šag began, while within cadastre municipality of Bocanjevci and cadastre municipality of Bizovac archaeologists surveyed only one site. In cadastre municipality of Valpovo two sites linked to Šag (on Šag fields) have been registered; at present, this site is attached to the Valpovo region. During 8 working days 13 sites dating to prehistory and to the Middle Ages were registered. Prehistory is represented at four sites, while the material related to the Middle Ages is found at 10 sites. The Modern Ages material is found at only one site, whereas the Antiquity is not present at all
