Some relations between rectifying and normal curves in Minkowski 3-space

Abstract

In this paper, we obtain explicit parameter equations of spacelike rectifying curves in $E^3_1$ whose projection onto spacelike, timelike and lightlike plane of $E^3_1$ is a normal curve. We also obtain explicit parameter equations of spacelike normal curves in $E^3_1$ whose projection onto lightlike plane of $E^3_1$, with respect to a chosen screen distribution, is a rectifying W-curve
