The assembly started at 12 pm and was opened and led by the President of the CCS, Prof. Dr. Nada Vučetić. The program of the assembly was divided into three parts: presentation of the 14th International Conference on Geometry and Graphics in Kyoto by Assist. Prof. Dr. Dražen Tutić and Prof. Dr. Miljenko Lapaine, official part and social part with party. At the beginning of the Assembly the President asked for the minute of silence in memory of victims of the tragic earth-quake and tsunami in Japan.In the presentation of 14th Inter-national Conference on Geometry and Graphics held in Kyoto in 2010 the authors gave short overview of the events on that conference organized by International Society for Geometry and Graphics. It was followed by the presentation of the paper the authors submitted to that conference which deals with cartographic line generalisation. At the end, short movie with moments from Japan was given.The agenda of the Assembly was as follows:1. Approval of the agenda2.  Approval of the previous Assembly minutes3.  President's report4. MiscellaneousThere were no suggestions or cor-rections for the minutes of the previous Assembly published in 13th issue of the Cartography and Geoinformation journal and it was approved.In her report, the President said that the last year saw sessions of the Presidency, the 8th Annual Assembly and regular issues of the Cartography and Geoinformation journal. She thanked sponsors who support the journal: the Ministry of Science, Education and Sport, the State Geodetic Administration, the Hydrographic Institute of the Republic of Croatia and the Institute for Photogram-metry Inc., Zagreb. The journal had two valuable international acknowledgments. The GIM International journal published a positive and complimentary representa-tion of our journal, and the Encyclopaedia Britannica included texts from our journal as a valuable source. Other journals have also recognized our journal and offered exchange. The CCS participated in the Festival of Science in 2010, with Earth as the theme. The Society participated with an exhibition of children's works and a workshop Children Draw the World. Workshop participants received gifts provided by the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Croatia, the Faculty of Geodesy of the University of Zagreb and the Hydrographic Institute of the Republic of Croatia.The President also noted the 2nd Croatian NSDI and INSPIRE Day and the 6th Cartography and Geoinforma-tion Conference were held in Opatija in November of 2010. There were 170 participants at the conference, and there was also a map exhibition of the Opatija Riviera with 30 exhibits. The President once again thanked sponsors who helped with the conference and members of the Organization and Scientific Com-mittees for their efforts. A representation of the conference was published in the 14th issue of Cartography and Geoin-formation.In addition, the President stated that extensive preparations were being done for participation in the 25th International Cartographic Conference in Paris. Prep-arations were also being done for the map exhibition and the children's works exhibition. The National Report was also being made for the period 2007–2011 by Prof. Dr. Miljenko Lapaine and Assist. Prof. Dr. Dražen Tutić. Prof. Dr. M. Lapa-ine was elected for the official represen-tative in the 15th General Assembly of the ICA, and his deputy MSc. Ivan Landek of the State Geodetic Administration. This concluded the President's report, which was accepted unanimously.The President then presented the financial report. The CCS was success-ful in 2010, and the financial report was accepted. The Supervisory Board's report was submitted by Dr. Dubravka Mlinarić due to absence of the Board President Assist. Prof. Dr. Ivka Kljajić. Dr. Mlinarić said the Society worked according to its Statute and laws.MSc. Radovan Solarić asked to be released from his membership in the Supervisory Board, which the Assembly accepted and made Dr. Vesna Poslončec Petrić a new member of the Board.In the plan for 2011, the President emphasized following activities: organi-zation of the 3rd Croatian NSDI and IN-SPIRE Day and the 7th Cartography and Geoinformation conference, participation in the General Assembly and conference of the ICA in Paris, where the Society is going to submit the National report on cartography in Croatia during the period 2007–2011; and updating Society's web site. The plan was accepted unanimously by the Assembly.The financial plan for 2011 contains less funds considering the economic situation. The Assembly accepted the presented financial plan. The President stated that the Society has been doing business within the Value Added Tax system since January 1, 2011.The President proposed that MSc. Ljerka Rašić and Ivana Šimat, Grad. Eng. Geod. of the State Geodetic Administra-tion be awarded the CCS's expression of gratitude for organizing the 2nd Croatian NSDI and INSPIRE Day and the 6th Cartography and Geoinforma-tion Conference. Ivana Šimat received her acknowledgment and thanked for it. An expression of gratitude was also awarded to Josip Juras, who donated valuable atlases to the Society. Mr. Juras thanked and noted the biographic lexicon Croatian Cartographers had motivated him to find out more about the Society.The official part of the Assembly was thus over and a banquet commenced.Dražen Tutić, Secretary of CCSKiG 2011, 15207Iz društava9. godišnja skupština  Hrvatskoga kartografskog društvaDeveta godišnja skupština Hrvatsko-ga kartografskog društva (HKD) održa-na je 18. ožujka 2011. u Vijećnici AGG fakulteta u Zagrebu, Kačićeva 26 s po-četkom u 12:00 sati. Skupštinu je otvo-rila i vodila predsjednica HKD-a prof. dr. sc. Nada Vučetić. Skupština se sastojala od tri dijela: predavanja doc. dr. sc. Dra-žena Tutića i prof. dr. sc. Miljenka Lapa-inea o 14. međunarodnoj konferenciji o geometriji i grafici u Kyotu, službenog di-jela skupštine i domjenka.Na početku skupštine predsjednica je pozvala prisutne da se minutom šut-nje prisjete poginulih u tragičnom potre-su i tsunamiju u Japanu.U predavanju o 14. međunarodnoj konferenciji o geometriji i grafici u Kyo-tu autori su ukratko predstavili događa-nja na toj konferenciji što ju organizira Međunarodno društvo o geometriji gra-fici. Potom su predstavili rad koji su tamo prezentirali, a koji se bavi kartografskom generalizacijom linija. Na kraju je prika-zan kratki film s doživljajima iz Japana.Skupština je prihvatila sljedeći dnev-ni red:1. Utvrđivanje dnevnoga reda2. Ovjera zapisnika s prethodne Skup-štine3. Izvještaj Predsjednice4. Izvještaj Nadzornog odbora5. Financijski izvještaj6. Plan rada i financijski plan za 2011. godinu7. Dodjela Zahvalnica HKD-a8. RazličitoNa zapisnik nije bilo primjedbi te je zapisnik s 8. godišnje skupštine objav-ljen u 13. broju časopisa Kartografija i geoinformacije prihvaćen bez primjedbi.U svom izvještaju Predsjednica je izvjestila da su u protekloj godini održa-ne sjednice Predsjedništva, održana je 8. godišnja skupština te da je redovito objavljivan časopis Kartografija i geoin-formacije. Upućena je zahvala sponzo-rima koji pomažu izlaženje časopisa, a to su Ministarstvo znanosti, obrazovanja i športa, Državna geodetska uprava, Hr-vatski hidrografski institut i Zavod za foto-grametriju d.d., Zagreb. Časopis je dobio dva vrijedna međunarodna priznanja. U časopisu GIM International objavljen je pozitivan i pohvalan prikaz o našem ča-sopisu, a Enciklopedija Britanica je uvr-stila tekstove iz našeg časopisa kao vri-jednog izvora. I drugi časopisi prepozna-ju naš časopis te predlažu razmjenu. Hr-vatsko kartografsko društvo sudjelovalo je na Festivalu znanosti 2010. Tema je bila Zemlja, a HKD je sudjelovao izlož-bom dječjih radova i radionicom Djeca cr-taju svijet. Sudionicima radionice uručeni su prigodni pokloni koje su dali MORH, Geodetski fakultet Sveučilišta u Zagrebu i Hrvatski hidorgrafski institut.Predsjednica je u izvještaju napome-nula da je pripremljen i održan 2. hrvat-ski NIPP i INSPIRE dan i 6. savjetova-nje Kartografija i geoinformacije u Opati-ji u studenom 2010. Na skupu je bilo 170 sudionika. U sklopu događanja održana je izložba karata opatijske rivijere s 30 izložaka. Predsjednica je još jednom za-hvalila sponzorima koji su pomogli orga-nizaciju tog skupa te članovima Organi-zacijskog i Znanstvenog odbora na ulo-ženom trudu. Prikaz tog skupa objavljen je u 14. broju časopisa Kartografija i ge-oinformacije.U nastavku predsjednica je spome-nula da su u tijeku opsežne pripreme za sudjelovanje na 25. međunarodnoj kar-tografskoj konferenciji u Parizu. Osim prijavljenih radova odvijaju se i pripre-me za sudjelovanje na izložbi karata i izložbi dječjih radova. Također se izra-đuje i Nacionalni izvještaj za razdoblje 2007–2011 za što su zaduženi prof. dr. sc. Miljenko Lapaine i doc. dr. sc. Dra-žen Tutić. Za službenog predstavnika na 15. generalnoj skupštini Međunarodno-ga kartografskog društva izabran je prof. dr. sc. Miljenko Lapaine, a za zamjeni-ka mr. sc. Ivan Landek iz Državne geo-detske uprave. Tim informacijama Pred-sjednica je završila svoje izvješće koje je jednoglasno prihvaćeno.Predsjednica je potom prezentira-la financijski izvještaj. HKD je uspješno poslovao u 2010. godini, a financijski iz-vještaj je prihvaćen. Izvještaj Nadzornog odbora podnije-la je dr. sc. Dubravka Mlinarić u odsutno-sti predsjednice Nadzornog odbora doc. dr. sc. Ivke Kljajić. U izvještaju je navela da je djelovanje društva bilo u skladu sa Statutom društva i zakonskim propisima.Mr. sc. Radovan Solarić je zamo-lio da ga se razriješi članstva u Nadzor-nom odboru što je Skupština prihvati-la, a za novog člana Nadzornog odbora Skupština je potvrdila dr. sc. Vesnu Po-slončec Petrić.U planu rada za 2011. Predsjednica je osim općih ciljeva društva posebno istaknula sljedeće aktivnosti: organizaci-ja 3. hrvatskog NIPP i INSPIRE dana i 7. savjetovanja Kartografija i geoinformaci-je, sudjelovanje na generalnoj skupštini i konferenciji Međunarodnoga kartograf-skog društva u Parizu na kojem će HKD podnijeti nacionalni izvještaj o kartografiji u Hrvatskoj  u razdoblju 2007–2011 i osu-vremenjivanje web-stranica društva. Plan je jednoglasno prihvaćen od Skupštine.U financijskom planu za 2011. godi-nu planirana sredstva su nešto manja s obzirom na gospodarsku situaciju. Skup-ština je prihvatila prezentirani financijski plan. Predsjednica je napomenula da od 1. siječnja 2011. godine HKD posluje u sustavu PDV-a.Predsjednica je predložila da se za organizaciju 2. hrvatskog NIPP i INSPI-RE dana i 6. savjetovanja Kartografija i geoinformacije dodijele zahvalnice HKD-a mr. sc. Ljerki Rašić i Ivani Šimat, dipl. inž. geod. iz Državne geodetske uprave. Ivana Šimat je preuzela zahvalnicu i za-hvalila na priznanju. Zahvalnica je tako-đer dodijeljena i gospodinu Josipu Jura-su koji je HKD-u donirao vrijedne atla-se. Gospodin Juras je zahvalio te spo-menuo kako ga je biografski leksikon Hr-vatski kartografi potaknuo da više sazna o djelatnosti društva.Time je završen službeni dio Skup-štine, a druženje je nastavljeno uz pri-godni domjenak.Dražen Tutić, tajnik HKD-a
