U članku se analizira drvo kao građevni materijal čija će primjena u budućim gradnjama biti zastupljenija nego što je bila do sada. Istraživanje prikazano u ovom radu temelji se na provedenoj anketi o odnosu javnosti prema gradnji od drva kao građevnog materijala. Rezultati ankete potvrđuju da drvene konstrukcije zadovoljavaju uvjete za upotrebu u suvremenim građevinama. U člansku se posebno ističe ekološka prikladnost zgrada sa zidovima i ostalim nosivim elementima od drva.Wood as building material that is likely to be increasingly represented in future construction work is analyzed. The research presented in this paper is based on the survey conducted in order to find out how the public feels about the use of wood as building material. The results of the survey have confirmed that wooden structures meet requirements for use in modern buildings.
