Ninety Years of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture of the University of Zagreb

Abstract

U članku je ukratko prikazana povijest Fakulteta strojarstva i brodogradnje Sveučilišta u Zagrebu od osnutka Kraljevske visoke tehničke škole 1919. godine. Prikazana su razvojna razdoblja, današnja organizacijska struktura i nastavni program te osvrt na ulogu Fakulteta u osnutku i razvoju sličnih ustanova u Hrvatskoj.The article shows a short history of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture of the University of Zagreb starting with the founding of the Royal High Technical School in 1919. The development phases are presented along with the present organizational structure and curriculum scheme. The role of the Faculty in the founding and development of similar institutions in Croatia is also described
