Le carnet de bord, un outil permettant le cheminement vers l'autonomisation dans un dispositif d'apprentissage de l'anglais en ligne ?

Abstract

Nancy 2 university offers both to its teachers and students a virtual learning environment using Moodle (ENT). A flexible language learning system via the ENT has been offered since 2005-2006 to MA psychology students (approximately 120 students every year). The use of this system has been studied for four years following the tradition of action-research. To favour a metacognitive approach by the students, we introduced a logbook in the system last year. Through qualitative and quantitative analyses of the logbooks we could uncover some of the students' learning strategies. Moreover, the analyses helped us check the validity of the logbook as a tool to reach autonomisation
