Mediante los sucesivos «Certámenes de Artes Plásticas» que
la Universidad de Sevilla ha venido convocando desde 1994, el
patrimonio de la institución ha conseguido integrar una importante
colección de arte contemporáneo-joven. En las siguientes páginas,
se realizará un análisis sobre su situación y una reflexión sobre su
potencialidad, considerando siempre que este patrimonio constituye
un elemento fundamental de enriquecimiento y de aprendizaje para la
comunidad universitaria y para la sociedad en su conjunto.By means of successive «Plastic Arts Awards» that the University of
Seville has been organizing since 1994, the Institutional Patrimony
has been integrating an important collection of contemporary-young
art. In the following pages, this situation is analized by making a
reflection about the potential of this heritage, and considering that
this patrimony constitutes a fundamental element of enrichment and
learning for university community and for society
