Meso- and microclimatic conditions in the southern part of the Cracow-Częstochowa Upland

Abstract

Pomiary i opracowania warunków mezo- i mikroklimatycznych w południowej części Wyżyny Krakowsko-Częstochowskiej rozpoczęto w latach 60. XX w. Po 1990 r. badania te uległy zasadniczym zmianom: wprowadzono pomiary automatyczne, zorganizowano regularne pomiary (kampanie pomiarowe) w cyklu wieloletnim, rozszerzono zakres o pomiary składników bilansu promieniowania i elementów bilansu cieplnego. Umożliwiło to dokładniejsze rozpoznanie zróżnicowania klimatu lokalnego oraz nowe spojrzenie na waloryzację i typologię mezo- i mikroklimatu badanego terenu.In the southern part of the Cracow-Częstochowa Upland, the meso- and microclimatic research was started in the1960s. After 1990, automatic measurements were introduced, multi-annual measurements campaigns were organised, and the elements of the radiation balance and heat balance were included. It allowed better recognition of the local climate differentiation and a new approach to the valorisation and typology of the meso- and microclimates of the study area
