From Swampland to Phenomenology and Back

Abstract

Swampland conjectures are a set of proposed necessary conditions for a low-energy effective field theory to have a UV completion inside a theory of quantum gravity. Swampland conjectures have interesting phenomenological consequences, and conversely phenomenological considerations are useful guidelines in sharping our understanding of quantum gravity.Comment: 6 pages, 3 figures, contribution to the 2019 EW session of the 54th Rencontres de Moriond, v2: references adde
