Невербальные коммуникативные компоненты в системе межкультурной коммуникации

Abstract

The role of non-verbal communicative components in cross-cultural communication is analyzed in the given article. The peculiarities of the adaptation of non-verbal components represented in the English novels in the process of their translation into Russian are revealed. The comparison of verbal representation of intonation, facial expressions, gestures in the English novels and their translated versions proved that the representation of the same volume of non-verbal information in the translated version requires the modification of non-verbal information on the expressive level. The results of the investigation confirm the thesis about the more expressive character of the Slavonic peoples in comparison with representatives of the English culture. The research in this sphere is perspective for the further solution of cross-cultural communicative problems.
