From the urban growth within the Valle of Aburrá some consequences are generated on the natural structure of the territory, both at the metropolitan and city levels, around this projective point the study area is analyzed: Olaya Herrera Airport and its environs. In the analysis we studied the different layers that make up the territory (Physical, Socioeconomic and Environmental) that allowed us to draw conclusions by understanding the main consequences of having an airport immersed in the urban network, among which the great social, physical and spatial barrier And natural that suggests the airport void. One of these scenarios is the biotechnological field, in which the building located at a point of intersection between longitudinal strategy (memory axis), transversal strategy (pedestrian permeability, natural and multimodal mobility) will respond to the environment generating with its formal lines The intention of mixing with the city and bringing it to its interior both natural and social. The architecture of this intervention will seek to be the stage to promote and teach nature in a technological sense, examining how the science represented in a building can be an engine of socio-spatial transformation for a particular sector of the city. In the project development of the building are selected as a topic to deepen the implementation of a typology of green facade, purifying air and water according to a study that is performed on different prototypes of existing green facades, thus contributing to the environment recreated in the Laboratories related to theseA partir del crecimiento urbano dentro del Valle de Aburrá se generan algunas consecuencias sobre la estructura natural del territorio, tanto a nivel metropolitano como de ciudad, en torno a este indicio proyectual se analiza el área de estudio: Aeropuerto Olaya Herrera y sus inmediaciones. En el análisis se estudiaron las distintas capas que componen el territorio (Fisicoespacial, Sociocultural, Socioeconómico y Ambiental) que nos permitieron arrojar conclusiones entendiendo las principales consecuencias de tener un aeropuerto inmerso en la trama urbana, entre estas se destaca la gran barrera social, fisicoespacial y natural que sugiere el vacío aeroportuario. Uno de estos escenarios es el ámbito biotecnológico, dentro del cual el edificio emplazado en un punto de intersección entre estrategia longitudinal (Eje de la memoria), estrategia transversal (permeabilidad peatonal, natural y de movilidad multimodal) responderá al entorno generando con sus líneas formales la intención de mezclarse con la ciudad y traerla a su interior tanto natural como socialmente. La arquitectura de esta intervención buscara ser el escenario para promover y enseñar la naturaleza en un sentido tecnológico, examinando como la ciencia representada en un edificio, puede ser un motor de transformación socio espacial para un sector determinado de la ciudad. En el desarrollo proyectual del edificio se seleccionan como tema a profundizar la implementación de una tipología de fachada verde, purificadora de aire y agua de acuerdo a un estudio que se realiza sobre distintos prototipos de fachadas verdes ya existentes, contribuyendo así al ambiente recreado en los laboratorios relacionados a esta
