Abstract
Ovaj diplomski rad usmjeren je na filmove o profesoru Baltazaru u nastavi medijske kulture. Ukratko govori o medijskoj kulturi te o svrsi, ciljevima i zadaćama nastave filma. Posebna pozornost posvećena je Zagrebačkoj školi crtanog filma, seriji o profesoru Baltazaru te Baltazaru kao najvećem hrvatskom brandu. Rad proučava estetiku i tehnike animacije upotrijebljene prilikom izrade serije te sadrži kratke analize pojedinih epizoda. Unutar ovog rada provedeno je istraživanje čiji je cilj utvrditi jesu li učenici mlađe školske dobi upoznati s likom profesora Baltazara, obrađuju li filmove o profesoru Baltazaru na nastavi medijske kulture, gledaju li filmove o profesoru Baltazaru u svoje slobodno vrijeme te kakvi su njihovi osobni dojmovi o filmovima koje su gledali. Istraživanje je provedeno u OŠ Dore Pejačević Našice, a u njemu je sudjelovalo 85 učenika od prvog do četvrtog razreda.This graduate thesis is focused on Professor Balthazar films in Media culture lessons. It briefly represents Media culture and the purpose, goals and tasks of film lessons. Particular attention was paid to the Zagreb School of Animated Film, a series of Professor Balthazar and Balthazar as the biggest Croatian brand. The thesis explores the aesthetics and animation techniques used in the series and contains short analyses of individual episodes. Within this graduate thesis was conducted a research which aim is to determine whether younger schoolage children are familiar with the image of Professor Balthazar, whether they learn about Professor Balthazar in Media culture lessons, whether they watch Professor Balthazar films in their free time and what are their personal impressions of films they watched.
