In this study, the problems in Physics Education in High Schools were assessed in the view of teachers and students’ approaches. In order to get concrete data of the suggestions for solution, a survey study consisting of the physics teachers and the students from Science depaıtment in the high schools in the centre and towns of Afyon province was carried out. As a result of the assessment of the data of the questionnaires, the related problems were detected and commented.Bu çalışmada, ortaöğretim fizik eğitim ve öğretiminde karşılaşılan sorunlar öğretmen ve öğrenci yaklaşımı ile değerlendirilmiş, çözüm önerileri için somut veriler elde etmek amacıyla Afyon merkez ve ilçelerindeki fizik öğretmenleri ve orta öğretim kuramlarında fizik dersi gören öğrencileri kapsayacak şekilde anket çalışması yapılmıştır. Anket sonucunda alman verilerin değerlendirilmesi ile konuyla ilgili sorunlar tespit edilmiş ve yorumlanmıştır
