PHASE NOISE MEASUREMENT SYSTEMS

Automation of phase noise measurements has been developed with satisfactory results using two techniques referred to as the two-oscillator technique and the singleoscillator technique. Measurements are performed in the frequency domain using a spectrum analyzer which provides a frequency window following the phase or frequency detector.
