This study explains the Multi-Akad Concept on Precious Metals As an
obligation to rahin, but it can also be done by murtahin, while the cost and
maintenance of storage remains an obligation of rahin. The cost of maintaining
and storing marhun must not be determined based on the guarantee loan amount
in the Bank Mandiri Syariah Surakarta Head Office. There have been pros and
cons about Multi akad in Precious Metals as Guarantees which in which there are
three contracts, namely the Qardh, Rahn and Ijarah contracts. To find out the
Multi-Akad Concept on Gold Pawn in the Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) Surakarta
Head Office and to find out the suitability of the Multi Accent on Gold Pawn at
Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) Surakarta Head Office is in accordance with DSNMUI
Fatwa No.25 / DSN- MUI / III / 2002 about rahn. This research is a field
research. The data used are primary and secondary data. The method of data
collection is using interviews and documentation. The analysis technique uses
qualitative with deductive thinking.
From the results of the study it can be concluded that the contracts used in
multi-contracts on precious metals are collateral, namely the Qardh, rahn, and
Ijarah contracts, which are carried out in one transaction. It is known that Qardh
here is a loan in the form of mortgage and ijarah contract as a maintenance and
storage fee that is calculated in accordance with the amount of the value of goods,
this is not in accordance with sharia principles. Because in DSN-MUI Fatwa
No.25 / DSN-MUI / III / 2002 concerning Rahn the maintenance and storage of
marhun is basically an obligation of rahin.
