Abstract

Günümüz çağında meydana gelen hızlı değişim ve gelişmeler işletmeleri önemli ölçüde etkilemektedir. Bu etkilenmenin sonucu olarak işletmelerin amaçları ve faaliyet alanlarından doğan muhasebe yükümlülükleri giderek artmaktadır.İşletmelerin hızlı rekabet ortamında yaşamlarını sürdürebilmesi için iyi örgütlenmiş bir yönetime ve muhasebe organizasyonuna ihtiyaç vardır. Bu doğrultuda işletmelerde muhasebe organizasyonunun; ‘muhasebenin kapsamına giren faaliyetlerin belirlenmesi, bu faaliyetlerin sınıflandırılması ve diğer alanlarla olan ilişkisinin kurulması' şeklinde tanımlanması mümkündür.Son zamanlarda önemli sektörlerden olan lojistik sektörü hem ülkemizde hem de dünyada hızını arttırarak büyümekte ve gelişmektedir. Bu hızlı gelişme ve büyüme karşısında işletmelerin iş süreçlerinin hızlı, hatasız ve prosedürlere uygun olması gerekir. Bu da işletmelerde iyi bir örgütlenme ile mümkündür. Muhasebe organizasyonunda muhasebe kurallarına göre; evrakların zamanında, iyi eğitim almış personelin yardımı ile doğru şekilde muhasebeleştirilmesi, arşivlemenin kolay ve düzgün oluşturulması, standartlara uygun raporlamaların yapılması gerekmektedir. Çalışmamızda; Türkiye'nin önemli lojistik firmalarından olan Türk Hava Yolları Kargo'nun İzmir Temsilciliğinin muhasebe organizasyonu araştırılmış ve elde edilen bulgular ışığında tez konusunun daha iyi anlaşılması sağlanmıştır.
