Analiza trofejne vrijednosti srnjaka i vepra u zajedničkom otvorenom lovištu br.111/133-Stankovac

Abstract

The paper deals with the analysis of the trophy values of male roe deer and wild boar (male) in the common hunting ground III/133 "Stankovac". When determinating the trophy values of the roe deer the length of the antlers, the mass, the volume and the span of the antlers was analyzed as well as the locality where the animal has been shoot. Determinating the trophy values of the wild boar has included measuring the cutter length, the cutter width, and the grinder circumference. For the purposes of writing this paper, hunting management plans (LGO), trophy measurement forms and ETD forms were used. For the analysis of the roe deer, 140 trophy measurement forms were included, and for the analysis of the trophy values of the wild boar, 62 trophy measurement forms were included. The analysis covered the period from 2006. - 2017. The result of the research shows that the length of the roe deer antlers advance by the age of 7, with the increase in the antler mass, volume and trophy value. Wild boar cutters become longer and wider with age as the grinders become thicker. Roe deer with the best trophy value have been shoot in the parts of the hunting ground with the agricultural habitats as well as alongside the peripheral parts of the woods along the settlements. Wild boars with the best trophy value have been shoot in the parts of hunting ground that have been overgrown with large forests and with neglected agricultural areas
