Pengaruh Teknik Relaksasi Progresif Terhadap Penurunan Reaktivitas Tekanan Darah Di Karang Taruna Rimba Desa Babadan

Abstract

Blood pressure reactivity is a process of increased blood pressure caused by lifestyle factors. This is evidenced by the percentage of lifestyle that is 23.7% smoking percentage, alcohol users 4.6%, lack of physical activity 48.2% and last consuming junk food 60.8% in the population. One of the therapies that can affect the decrease in blood pressure reactivity is by progressive relaxation technique. This study aims to determine the effect of progressive relaxation technique on the decrease in blood pressure reactivity in members of youth. This research uses quasi experiment approach with research form in the form of pretest and posttest with control group design, located in Karang Taruna Babadan Village, the number of samples that can be 10 people. The data obtained using paired samples t-test. The effect test using paired samples t-test on the value of blood pressure reactivity in the treatment group obtained p value = 0,016, in the control group obtained p value = 1,000. The data can be concluded acceptable hypothesis which means there is influence of progressive relaxation technique to decrease reactivity of blood pressure at youth cadets in Babadan Village
