Abstract
U ovom radu razmatra se utjecaj tehničkog stanja vozila na sigurnost u cestovnom prometu. Zabrinjavajući je podatak da od ukupnog broja vozila koja sudjeluju u prometu oko 23 % je tehnički neispravnih vozila. U prilog ovoj tvrdnji idu i činjenice stalnog povećanja broja sudionika u prometu i velik broj prometnih nesreća. U svim statističkim podacima i analizama kao najveći uzrok prometne nesreće naziva vozača, dok je 0,2% prometnih nesreća uzrokuju prometne nesreće bili su tehnički neispravni vozila. Međutim, analizirajući podatke koji se u Europskoj uniji da 6-8% prometnih nesreća su uzrokovane s vozilima što je bilo tehnički neispravno, te da je u Republici Hrvatskoj 20% vozila nije prošao provjeru, može se pretpostaviti da je broj prometnih nesreća koje uzrokuju tehnički neispravnih vozila znatno veći.In this work we consider impact of technical condition of vehicles on the traffic safety. Worrisome is the fact from the total numbers of vehicles involved in traffic about 23 % is technically defective vehicles. In all statistical data and analyzes as the biggest cause of accidents is referred to driver, while 0.2% of traffic accidents cause traffic accidents were technical defective of vehicle. However, analyzing the data that in the European Union that 6 - 8% of traffic accidents are caused with vehicles which was technically incorrect and that in Republic of Croatia 20% of the vehicles has not passed the inspection, it can be assumed that the number of road accidents which cause technical defective of vehicle significantly higher
