Abstract
U području hrvatskih nizinskih šuma za skupljanje i privlačenje drvnih sortimenata primjenjuje se poseban oblik primarnoga transporta drva, za koji je znakovita potpuna odignutost tereta (oblovine) od tla, pri čemu se koriste forvarderi. Forvarderi su samopogonjena vozila namijenjena pomicanju stabala ili njegovih dijelova koji drvo izvoze utovarno u tovarnom prostoru vozila iz šumskog bespuća do pomoćnoga stovarišta, odnosno šumske ceste. Prvi forvarderi imali su četiri kotača, po dva na svakom dijelu gdje su svi kotači bili pogonski. Poslije se prvo stražnji most zamjenjuje s bogi ovjesom, a nakon njega i prednji. U današnje vrijeme za forvardere se može reći da su dosegli maksimum u svom razvoju, međutim još uvijek postoje neke stvari koje se mogu doraditi, promijeniti i na kraju krajeva poboljšati.In the area of Croatian lowland forests, a special form of primary wood transport is applied as a means of gathering and pulling wood assortments. For the mentioned transport a complete lift of the cargo (round logs) from the ground is significant, for which forwarders are used. Forwarders are self powered vehicles intended for moving trees or their parts, carrying the loaded timber in the vehicle’s cargo compartment from the forest wastelands to the auxiliary depot, i.e. forest road. The first forwarders had four wheels, two on each part where they were drive wheels. Later on, the rear axle was first replaced by a bogie suspension, and after that, the front axle. Nowadays, it is safe to say that forwarders have reached the peak of their development, however; there are certain things that can be developed further, altered, and in the end, improved
