Retail internationalization in the Republic of Croatia

Abstract

Internacionalizacija maloprodaje u svijetu općenito predstavlja proširenje poslova na strana tržišta. U radu se govori o maloprodaji koja je definirana kroz trgovinu na malo u gospodarskom sustavu, u sustavu distribucije, te maloprodajnim oblicima i poslovnim jedinicama. Razvoj maloprodaje razmatra se kroz povijesni razvoj Republike Hrvatske, analizu maloprodaje te kvalitetu maloprodajnih poslovnih jedinica, te konačno internacionalizaciju maloprodaje.In general, retail internalization represents the expansion of business on the foreign markets. In this paper, retail industry is defined through retail in the economical and distribution sense, as well as through retail forms and business units. The development of retail is considered taking into account the historical growth and expansion of the Republic of Croatia, analysis of retail, quality of retail business units and, finally, retail internalization
