Abstract
Fotodokumentacija FCD-a sadrži 25786 fotografija za ukupno 3199 vrsta i podvrsta. Preuzimanjem digitaliziranih materijala iz djela ˝Flora von Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz˝ u FCD je dodano novih 655 ilustaracija sada javnosti dostupnih za pretragu i uvid putem modula ˝Galerija˝. Malo manje od polovice vrsta koje obitavaju na području Hrvatske nema fotografiju u sklopu FCD-a. Više od polovice endema i stenoendema nisu zabilježeni u obliku fotografije. Velik broj vrsta koje imaju fotodokumentaciju ne smatra se ugroženim. Stupanj ugroženosti poznat je za 449 vrsta koje imaju fotodokumentaciju. Moguć razlog nedovoljne fotodokumentiranosti Hrvatske flore je vjerojatno relativno malen broj dovoljno stručnih osoba koje bi aktivno sudjelovale u prikupljanju informacija. Fotodokumentaciju flore Hrvatske treba proširiti jer to vodi ka boljem poznavanju biološke raznolikosti, obrazovanju i senzibilizaciji javnosti i uspješnijem planiranju zaštite prirode.Photodocumentation of FCD containes 25786 photos for 3199 species and subspecies. By downloading digitized materials from the work ˝Flora von Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz˝ in to FCD was added new 655 illustrations which are now available to the public for search and access by the module ˝Gallery˝. Less then half species that inhabit on the area of Croatia don’t have photo within FCD. More than half endemic species and steno endemic species are not photo documented. Large number of species that have photo documentation are not considered vulnerable. Degree of vulnerability is known for 449 species that have photo documentation. Possible reason that flora of Croatia is not well photo documented is relatively small number of competent persons which would actively participate in data collecting. Photo documentation of Croatian flora must be expanded because it leads to better knowing of biodiversity, educating and sensibilization of public and successful planning of nature protection
