Surface roughness of prototypes made by FDM technology

Abstract

Aditivna proizvodnja svakim danom sve više napreduje, pod tim pojmom postoje različiti postupci izrade prototipova i malih serija. Svim postupcima je zajedničko stvaranje modela sloj po sloj iz računalno izrađenog CAD modela. Postoje mnogi postupci aditivne proizvodnje, u ovom završnom radu opisani su samo neki s naglaskom na FDM postupak. Svaki postupak ima svoje prednosti i nedostatke, ovisno o kompliciranosti izrade modela, kvaliteti dobivenog vanjskog izgleda, mehaničkim svojstvima i sl. U okviru ovog završnog rada provedeno je mjerenje hrapavosti na epruvetama izrađenim FDM postupkom. Epruvete su izrađene različitom debljinom ispisa. Rezultati mjerenja prikazani su tablično i u dijagramu, te je napravljena njihova analiza.Additive technology is advancing every day and this term encompasses various procedure of making prototypes and small series. All this procedures have in common making of models layer by layer from computer generated CAD model. There are many additive technology procedures and in this final paper I described only some with focus on FDM method. Every method has it's advantages and it's disadvantages based on the complexity od model production, quality of outer appearance, mechanical properties etc. Within this final paper the measuring of surface roughness on test bars was preformed by applying FDM procedure. Test bars wew made by different print thickness. The results of measurment are shown in tables and diagrams and their analysis were made
