The influence of dance on the antropological characteristics of children

Abstract

Razdoblje predškolske dobi najpovoljnije je razdoblje za djelovanje na antropološka obilježja. Plesom se utječe na razvoj svih motoričkih sposobnosti, ponajviše na koordinaciju, fleksibilnost i ravnotežu. Zbog procesa rasta i razvoja, teško je odrediti točan utjecaj plesa na funkcionalne sposobnosti i morfološke karakteristike. U plesu se, u procesu učenja koreografije, ali i tijekom ostatka sata, razvija pamćenje, mašta i vizualizacija koji doprinose poboljšanju kognitivnih sposobnosti. Kroz grupni rad i igru ostvaruje se socijalni kontakt što pridonosi lakšoj i boljoj socijalizaciji, ali i poboljšanje osobina ličnosti u grupi koja njeguje osobine poput empatije, međusobne tolerancije i razumijevanja.Preschool age is the most beneficial period for affecting anthropological features. Dance affects development of all motor skills, especially coordination, flexibility and balance. Due to the growth and development process, it is difficult to determine the exact influence of dance on functional abilities and morphological characteristics. In the process of learning choreography, as well as during the rest of the dance class, memory, imagination and visualization are developed and this contributes to improving cognitive abilities. Social contact, which occurs during group work and playing, contributes to easier and better socialization. Also, personality traits are improved in a group that nurtures features such as empathy, mutual tolerance and understanding
