Abstract
Alternativna otapala iz obnovljivih izvora za ekstrakciju, pročišćavanje i formulaciju prirodnih i prehrambenih proizvoda privukla su veliku pažnju posljednjih godina. Klasična organska otapala uzrokuju brojne negativne učinke na okoliš i zdravlje ljudi, a neizbježni su za korištenje u kemijskoj i biotehnološkoj industriji. U skladu s time, cilj ovog rada bio je predstaviti neka zelena otapala kao što su voda, superkritični fluidi, ionske kapljevine, eutektička otapala i ostala otapala iz prirodnih izvora kao učinkovita otapala u inovativnim procesima ekstrakcije, prihvatljiva sa stajališta zelene kemije. Ne-toplinske tehnologije (visoko hidrostatski tlak, pulsirajuće elektično polje, ultrazvuk, ekstrakcija sa superktitičnim fluidima) su u razvoju kako bi se unaprijedio postupak ekstrakcije.Alternative solvents from renewable resources for extraction, purification and formulation of natural and food products have attracted a lot of attention in recent years. Conventional organic solvents, commonly used in chemical and biotechnological industry, cause numerous negative effects on the environment and human health. Accordingly, the aim of this study was to present some green solvents such as water, supercritical fluids, ionic liquids, eutectic solvents and other solvents from natural sources as efficient solvents in innovative extracting processes acceptable from the point of view of green chemistry. Non-thermal technologies (high hydrostatic pressure, pulsed electric fields, ultrasounds, and supercritical fluid assisted) are in development to enhance the extraction process
