Insurance of Goods in Road Transport

Abstract

Osiguranje robe u cestovnom prijevozu zahtjevan je dio špediterskog posla. Analizom se dobije uvid u postupak sklapanja takvog osiguranje, potrebnu dokumentaciju, sama uloga špeditera kao ugovaratelja osiguranja za svog komitenta ili nalogodavca te karakteristike osiguranja robe koje proizlaze iz ugovora o osiguranju. Upravo je to i predmet rada, kao i analiza obveza koje moraju biti ispunjene za vrijeme trajanja ugovora i obveze koje nastaju nastupanjem osiguranog slučaja. Posebno je analizirana naknada štete iz ugovora te sva potrebna dokumentacija u vezi s tim. Usporedbom domaćeg i međunarodnog osiguranja robe dobije se uvid u sličnosti i razlike s kojima špediter mora biti upoznati jer se u većini slučajeva njegov posao ne ograničava samo na domaće transportno osiguranje. Naposljetku je dan zaključak cjelokupne analize provedenog istraživanja.Insurance of good in road transport is a challenging part of forwarder job. By analyizng the process we get an insight into conclusion off that kind of insutrance, necessary documentation, the role of forwader as the mediator for his principal, as well as the characteristics of insurance of goods which arise as a result of insurance contract. This presicely is the subject of this work, as well as the analysis of obligations which must be fulfilled during the term of the contract and obligations which arise in case of occurrence of insured event. Indemnity is specifically analyzed as well as all of the necessary documentation that goes with it. By comparing domestic and internation insurance of goods we get an insight into differences and similarities between them with whom the forwarder has to be informed because in most cases the forwarder job is not limited to only domestic insurance of goods in transport.
