Abstract
Suvremene prometnice najveći su zagađivači čovjekove okoline uz energetska i industrijska postrojenja. One bitno utječu na smanjenje zelenih površina i vizualnu degradaciju prirodnog i gradskog prostora u urbanim sredinama. Izgaranjem fosilnih goriva iz automobila i ostalih prometnih sredstava proizvode se onečišćene tvari koje znatno utječu na tlo, vodu, biljni i životinjski svijet i na cijeli ekosustav. Uz emisiju štetnih tvari u eksploataciji prometnica dolazi do pojave buke i svjetlosnog zagađenja koje negativno utječe na cjelokupnu okolinu. Zakonskim se regulativama i mjerama pokušava smanjiti štetan utjecaj tijekom i nakon izgradnje prometnica na okoliš. Ovim je radom cilj prikazati utjecaj suvremenih prometnica na okoliš, zakonske regulative i mjere za smanjenje štetnog utjecaja suvremenih prometnica.Modern roads are the most polltant of the human environment along with energy and industrial plants. Modern roads affect the reduction of green areas and the visual degradation of natural and urban space in urban areas. Combustion of fossil fuels from cars and other means of transportation vehicles produces pollutants that significantly affect soil, water, plant and animal life and the entire ecosystem. In addition to the emission of harmful substances in the exploitation of roads, there is increasement of the noise and light pollution which negatively affects the entire environment. Legislative regulations and measures are trying to reduce the damaging impact during and after the demolition of the road to the environment. In this paper the aim is to present the influence of modern roads on the environment, legislative regulations and measures to reduce the harmful effects of modern roads
