Abstract
Automobili su dio svakodnevnog života ljudi već više od jednog stoljeća. Smatra se da
je automobil u pokretu otprilike 2 sata dnevno, što znači da punih 22 sata mora biti negdje
parkiran. Stoga, nije čudno da je parkiranje jedan od primarnih problema svake urbane
sredine, a posebno središta gradova. Svako putovanje automobilom rezultira potrebom za
ostavljanjem automobila što bliže cilju putovanja. Kako bi to bilo omogućeno, potrebno je
pravilno dimenzionirati ponudu parkiranja, što znači optimalno dizajnirati, projektirati te
opremiti parkiralište ili mjesta za parkiranje na ulici. U tome nam pomažu razne matematičke
i statističke metode za proračun broja potrebnih parkirališnih mjesta u nekoj sredini. Na
primjeru jednog zagrebačkog naselja će se primijeniti dvije metode, te će se tako
dimenzionirati ponuda parkiranja za navedeno naselje. Također će se ispitati i aktualno,
sadašnje stanje ponude parkiranja naselja i naći problemi koji onemogućavaju optimalno
organiziranje ponude parkiranja.Automobiles are a part of everyday life of people for over one century. It is considered that an
automobile is in movement for about 2 hours a day, which means that for full 22 hours it
needs to be parked somewhere. Hence, it is not strange that parking is one of primary
problems of every urban environment, especially city centers. Every trip made by an
automobile results with a need of leaving it as close as it is possible to the trip destination. To
make that possible, it is needed to regularly size the parking offer, which means to optimally
design, project and equip a parking lot or a street parking space. Various mathematical and
statistical methods help us in doing so. In example of a Zagreb settlement, two of the methods
will be applied, and by doing that, we will size the parking offer. Also, current parking offer
and problems will be examined
