Application of cholinium-based deep eutectic solvent to lipase-catalyzed butyl acetate synthesis

Abstract

Također imaju izrazitu važnost u uspostavljanju novih visokoučinkovitih i održivih procesa proizvodnje industrijski važnih kemikalija u području kemijske tehnologije i biotehnologije. Eutectic solvents represent the new generation of non-volatile and stable solvents which have been intensively studied for the past few years as possible replacement for conventional molecular solvents in organic chemistry. They are especially important in establishing of new highly productive and sustainable processes for the production of industrially important compounds in the field of chemical technology and biotechnology. Therefore, the aim of this work was to study the possibility of butyl acetate synthesis in cholinium-based eutectic solvents in order to contribute to development of ecologically acceptable process for short ester synthesis
