Abstract
Postoji mnogo patogena koji ulaskom u naš organizam izazivaju razna oboljenja. Jedni od njih su paraziti koji se hrane i razvijaju na račun domaćina u kojem parazitiraju. Osim što izazivaju razna oboljenja s različitim simptomima često mogu uzrokovati smrt. Najčešće se prenose hranom, pa je potrebno vršiti kontrolu hrane prije nego što dođe do potrošača, ali i adekvatno pripremati hranu koju konzumiramo. Rang parazita koji se prenose hranom određen je alatom za bodovanje parazita prema višestrukim kriterijima i pokazuje nam da je u svijetu najvažnija pojava svinjske trakavice u hrani. U Republici Hrvatskoj najviše je bilo zabilježeno slučajeva trihineloze, ali i drugih manje zastupljenih parazita. Iako postoje stroge mjere kontrole hrane, i dalje postoji mogućnost invazije nekim od parazita, te se smatra da će način uzgoja životinja i bilja za prehranu, odnosno intenzivna proizvodnja, te prehrambene navike ljudi, kao što su konzumiranje sirove i egzotične hrane te visokoproteinske hrane, dovesti do masovnijeg širenja parazita, ali i do nastanka novih bolesti.There are many pathogens that come into our body causing different diseases. One of them are the parasites that feed and develop on the account of the host. In addition to causing various diseases with different symptoms, they may often end up causing death. They are usually transmitted by food, so food control is needed before it comes to consumers, but also adequately preparation of foods is of great importance. Ranges of food-borne parasites in the world determined by scoring parasites according to multiple criteria reveal the highest importance of Taenia solium in food. In the Republic of Croatia was noted the highest prevalence of trichinosis, as well as other less represented parasites. Although, there are strict food control measures, there is still a potential for infection with some parasites, and it is considered that the way of raising animals and plants for nutrition, like intensive production and eating habits of humans such as eating raw and exotic foods and high protein foods, could leads to a massive spread of parasites, but also to the emergence of new illnesses
