Cultur and tradition of the Vinkovci region in the curriculum of sustainable development of a preschool institution

Abstract

Ovim diplomskim radom obuhvaćen je teorijski i praktični dio kulture i tradicije vinkovačkog kraja. U prvom dijelu rada opisana je povijest grada Vinkovaca te bogatstva koja ova kraj posjeduje. Nadalje govori se o graditeljstvu istočne Slavonije kroz povijest, kakve su kuće gradili naši stari i po čemu su se nastambe razlikovale. Postojao je niz obrta kojima su se ljudi bavili, navode se šeširdžija, obućar i glazbalar kao najpoznatija zanimanja koja su opstala do danas. U nastavku rada objašnjeno je kako su se odijevali naši stari uz detaljan opis ženske, muške i dječje nošnje koje se kao takve odijevaju i danas. Postoji niz manifestacija i kulturnih zbivanja koja nam daju sliku prošlosti. Vinkovačke jeseni, kao jedna od najpoznatijih manifestacija u Republici Hrvatskoj održavaju se već 53 godine, čime vidimo da su ljudi danas svjesni bogatstva koje vinkovački kraj posjeduje. Važnost očuvanja kulture i tradicije vidimo i u kurikulumu za rani i predškolski odgoj i obrazovanje koji kao jedan od ciljeva navodi i očuvanje tradicijskih bogatstava. U drugom dijelu rada navedene su tradicijske pjesme i plesovi naših starih, a koje se i danas provode u ustanovama ranoga i predškolskoga odgoja i obrazovanja te pisana priprema s aktivnostima koje se mogu provoditi u skupinama s djecom kroz duže vremensko razdoblje.This master's thesis covers the theoretical and practical part of the culture and traditions of the Vinkovci region. The first part of the paper describes the history of the town of Vinkovci and the its wealth. Furthermore, it speaks about the construction in eastern Slavonia through the history, what kind of houses were built by our ancestors, and what were differencies among the dwellings. There were a number of crafts people dealt with, a hatter, a shoemaker and a musician maker as the most famous professions that survived to date. In the course of the work, it is explained how our ancestors were dressed with a detailed description of women's, men's and children's costumes that are still worn today. There are a number of manifestations and cultural events that give us a picture of the past. “Vinkovačke jeseni”, one of the most well-known event in the Republic of Croatia, has been held for 53 years, and we see that people today are aware of the wealth that the Vinkovci region has. The importance of the preservation of culture and tradition is also seen in the curriculum for early and preschool education which as one of the goals cites the preservation of traditional riches. In the second part of the master's thesis there are the traditional songs and dances of our old ones are mentioned, which are still being carried out in early childhood and pre-school education and written preparation for activities that can be carried out in groups with children over a longer period of time
