Monitoring outbreaks of disease of wheat during 2012-2013 years on Kutjevo Inc.

Abstract

Cilj ovoga istraživanja je bio utvrditi pojavu bolesti u vegetacijskoj godini 2012./2013. na pšenici posijanoj na lokaciji u vlasništvu Kutjevo d.d. Utvrđivanje pojave bolesti obavljeno je redovitim pregledom biljaka na polju. Od uzročnika bolesti jedino je utvrđena pojava gljive Septoria tritici. Naime, pravovremena zaštita pšenice od bolesti u poduzeću Kutjevo d.d. se obavlja uglavnom preventivno (ukoliko postoje uvjeti za infekciju), a to je i razlog zbog kojeg nije bilo značajnije pojave bolesti. Budući da je proizvodnja najvećim dijelom orijentirana na sjemenski uzgoj pšenice obavila su se dva fungicidna tretmana. Prvo tretiranje je imalo za cilj zaštiti pšenicu od lisnih uzročnika bolesti, dok se drugim tretmanom štiti klas.The aim of this study was to determine the occurrence of the disease in the vegetation year 2012/2013. on wheat sown on Kutjevo d.d.. The occurrence of the disease was carried out trough regular field visit. In the field only fungus Septoria tritici was detected. The protection of wheat against diseases in the company Kutjevo d.d. is done mainly preventive (if there are conditions for infection), and this is the reason why there were no significant outbreaks of disease. Since the production on Kutjevo d.d. is mostly focused on the cultivation of wheat for seed productoin the two fungicide treatments were conducted.
