Influence of nutrition media and temperature on Fusarium species

Abstract

Rodu Fusarium pripadaju mnoge vrste koje su vrlo značajne za razvoj biljaka te zdravlje ljudi i životinja. U istraživanju su ispitivani izolati 12 vrsta roda Fusarium kako bi se utvrdio utjecaj hranjive podloge na razvoj micelija. Korištene su tri hranjive podloge: podloga od rajčice, PDA podloga i Čapek podloga, a razvoj gljive se pratio na dvije različite temperature: 15oC i 22oC. Porast micelija se bilježio tijekom deset dana. Za razvoj Fusarium vrsta najpogodnija temperatura je 22ºC, dok je na nižim temperaturama (15ºC) slabiji razvoj micelija. Najpovoljnija podloga za razvoj Fusarium vrsta je PDA podloga.Many species which belong to the genus Fusarium are very important and they have negative consequences for human and animal health. In this study we examinated the influence of nutrition media and temperature on the development of mycelium of 12 Fusarium species. The trial was conducted at three nutrition media; tomato agar, PDA and Czapek agar, and at two temperatures: 15ºC and 22ºC. For the development of Fusarium species the most suitable temperature is 22ºC, while a lower temperature (15ºC) causes lower growth of mycelia.
