Symmetry Breaking Study with Random Matrix Ensembles

Abstract

A random matrix model to describe the coupling of $m$-fold symmetry is constructed. The particular threefold case is used to analyze data on eigenfrequencies of elastomechanical vibration of an anisotropic quartz block.
