Conflict control in work environment

Abstract

Komunikacija je zastupljena u svim sferama ţivota i još uvijek se ne moţe prihvatiti samo jedna definicija. Njeni poĉeci datiraju od praĉovjeka, a najranija zabiljeţena informacija o raspravama o komunikaciji nastala je za vrijeme Platona. Postoji više vrsta komunikacije te nekoliko komunikacijskih stilova. Kako bi komuniciranje unutar radne organizacije bilo uĉinkovito, vaţna je snaţna uloga rukovoditelja unutar radne organizacije te sudjelovanje svih zaposlenika kao i poznavanje razliĉitosti (religija, nacionalnost, kultura) meĊu zaposlenima. Rastom i razvojem organizacije, time i povećanim komuniciranjem nerijetko moţe doći do konflikta. Konflikt ne mora nuţno biti negativan, moţe imati i pozitivne rezultate. Tako postoje konflikti meĊu pojedincima i konflikti meĊu grupama. Konflikti na brodu mogu biti individualni, organizacijski te kolektivni. Postoji pet stilova upravljanja konfliktom. Da bi se odabrali najpovoljniji naĉini rješavanja konflikta u odreĊenim situacijama, vaţno je poznavati situaciju nastanka konflikta te vrijeme nastanka. Štete do kojih dolazi kada se konflikt ne sprijeĉi ili na vrijeme ne riješi su osamljenost, stres, mobbing te porast bolovanja i izostanak s radnog mjesta.Communication is represented in all spheres in life and there isn't still just one definition accepted. It is beginnings date back to Neanderthal, and the earliest recorded information about discussions on communication was during Plato. There are many types of communication and several communication styles. For communication to be effective within an organization important role has the manager and participation off all employees as well as knowledge of diversity (religion, nationality, culture) among employees. Due to growth and development in organizations, especially by increasing communication can often lead to conflict. There are conflicts between individuals and conflicts between groups. The conflict doesn't necessary have to be negative, it can have positive results. There are five styles of conflict management. Conflicts on the ship can be individual, organizational and collective. To choose the most convenient way of dealing with conflicts in certain situations it's important to know the situation of conflict and the time of occurrence. Damage that may occur when an conflict isn't prevented on time or solved on time is loneliness, stress, bullying – mobbing and increased sick leave and absence from work
