Abstract
Lightweight concrete has a lower density compared to normal concrete. Reducing density is achived by creating a space between the grains of coarse aggregate, creating voids in the mortar or using the aggregates with a large content of pores. Lightweight aggregate concrete with expanded clay or slag, and the aggregate of natural origin, achive maximum strength. In the experimental part of the work 2 different types of concrete mixes were made. Results obtained by testing properties of fresh and hardened lightweight self - compacting concrete with ground brick are presented and analysed
