Druki z 1. połowy XVI w. z kolekcji Zygmunta Czarneckiego w zbiorach lwowskich

Abstract

Book collection of Zygmunt hr. Czarnecki of Rusko in Wielkopolska, purchased in 1914 by the Library of Foundation of Victor hr. Baworowski in Lviv, was one of the most important and most valuable collections of polonica, also enriched with other landowners collections. The article discusses printings from the fi rst half of the sixteenth century, now preserved in the V. Stefanyk Lviv National Scientifi c Library of Ukraine. The collection consists of works in the fi eld of literature and occasional, political, legal, liturgical prints (in particular Missals of the Kraków and Wrocław dioceses), well known mathematical and astronomical, natural science, philosophical treatises and historiography, theological texts, including preaching, polemical and apologetic (dissident and Catholic). Collection, mostly in Latin, is featured by original bindings or volumes were designated by Czarnecki’s superexlibris. The article discusses especially valuable prints of the collection
