Abstract

The subject of considerations constitutes the presence of the medial variety in teaching. The attention is paid to the contents of the curriculum which contains the aspects related to the media. What is suggested involves introducing a medial variety with its subvarieties, a press, radio and television as well as Internet one. The determinants for this variety are pragmatic, situational and medial criteria. The presentation of communicative features and traditional linguistic variety, as well as medial variety points to the need of introducing not only the knowledge and education about the media for the media and through the media, but, above all, the medial education taking into account the latest competences
