The Psychology of Greeks. A Historical Approach. Seminar Report

Abstract

This report aims to trace the origins of some characteristics that can be found to the psychology of the Greek population. The argumentation is based on historical facts, which had a huge impact on the psyche of the people, because of their brutality and the adverse social conditions that they created. It is an attemt to sketch the Greek character by examining each historical period independently and from the perspective of the people, who experienced the events, which eventually led them to adopt certain behaviours. However, it is by no means an attempt to diminish and simplify the complexity of the human psyche and the uniqueness of every human being
