Abstract
3D pisači i njihova primjena su kroz ovaj rad objašnjeni u osam poglavlja. Nakon početnog uvoda u rad prikazana je povijest aditivnih tehnologija i osnovni principi rada 3D pisača. Kroz sljedeća poglavlja objašnjeni su procesi i načini modeliranja CAD modela kao i formati datoteka u koje se isti pohranjuju. Upoznavanjem s modeliranjem i pohranom modela objašnjeni su najpoznatiji procesi izrade objekata zajedno sa svojim prednostima i nedostacima, te područjima primjene. Po završetku rada predstavljena su najčešća industrijska područja koja su prisvojila aditivne tehnologije, te je izrađen prototip na temelju znanja stečenog istraživanjem u svrhu pisanja ovog rada.3D printers and their applications through this work have been explained in eight chapters. After the initial introduction, the history of additive technologies and basic principles how 3D printing machines work are presented. The following chapters explain the various processes and procedures the CAD model is based upon as well as the file formats in which they are stored. Familiarizing with modeling and storing formats defines the most famous processes of making objects, together with the implied advantages and disadvantages and areas of application. The final part of the work presented the most common industrial areas which adapted the additive technologies. Nonetheless a prototype was developed based on the knowledge gained in the research for the purpose of writing this paper
