Effect of Collision Injuries of Participants in Traffic Accidents

Abstract

Ljudske žrtve u prometnim nesrećama su ozlijeđeni ili poginuli, radi boljeg poznavanja tematike ovog rada opisane su ozljede, mehanizmi ozljeđivanja uslijed nastanka prometne nesreće, statistički podaci o prometnim nesrećama u Republici Hrvatskoj, te prevencije nastanka ozljeda u prometnim nesrećama. Ozljede mogu biti lake, teške i smrtonosne, a karakteristične ozljede za prometne nesreće su trzajne ozljede vrata, ozljede glave, ozljede leđa i ozljede prsa. Priilkom frontalnih sudara karakteristične ozljede su na ovim dijelovima tijela: noge, zdjelica, prsni koš, glava i abdomen. Bočni sudar je nepredvidljiv, te pri takvom sudaru dolazi do raznih ozljeda. Karakteristične ozljede prilikom bočnog sudara su trzajne ozljede vrata. Radi manjih posljedica uslijed nastanka prometnih nesreća, potrebno je usavršavati sigurnosne sustave na vozilu. Kao što je zračni jastuk i sigurnosni pojas, te razvijati nove suvremene sustave.Humans victims in traffic accidents are injured or casuality, for a better knowledge of the subject matter of this work injuries are described in statistics on traffic accidents in the Republic of Croatia, and the prevention of injuries in traffic accidents. A side impact is unpredictable, and when such a collision occurs various injuries. Typical injury in a side impact is whiplash. In order to lower the consequences due to the occurrence of accidents, it is necessary to improve the safety systems on the vehicle such as the air bag and seat belt and there is need for developing new and modern systems
