Posjedovanje vozila prestalo je biti luksuz te je postalo potreba. Osim za vlastite potrebe vozila se u velikom broju koriste i za rad. Svako vozilo ima svoju efektivnost, vijek trajanja, isplativost te mnogo ostalih karakteristika. Vlasnici vozila žele maksimalno iskoristiti svoja vozila, tj. žele ih koristiti što duže uz što manje kvarova, otkaza i troškova.
